Terms of Service
Effective date: 5 November 2026 Last updated: 5 November 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Eachlang (the "Service"), available at eachlang.com and related domains, apps, plugins, command-line tools and APIs. Your contract for the Service is with Senem Can (Section 1). By creating an account or using the Service, and by continuing to use it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Senem Can, an individual (natural person) resident in Türkiye, operating the Service under the name Eachlang, with address at Tepebaşı, Eskişehir, Türkiye ("Eachlang", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@eachlang.com.
2. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns and refunds in line with Section 8 and our Refund Policy.
When you buy a paid plan, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to the purchase. Paddle calculates, collects and remits applicable sales taxes and VAT. Your use of the Service itself is governed by these Terms.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- The Service is intended for businesses, professionals and website owners. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation, and "you" means that organisation.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done under your account, including by team members and clients you invite.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. The Service
Eachlang is a website translation and localisation service. It detects the text on a website you control, translates it with machine translation (including large language models), lets you review and edit translations, and serves translated versions of your website on language subdomains or a hostname we provide, or delivers translations to your own application through our API so that your application can serve them, for example on language paths such as /fr/.
To serve translated pages, the Service may request pages from your website and deliver them to your visitors through our edge infrastructure. Translated pages are only served for websites whose ownership you have verified; before verification you may only see a private preview, as described in Section 1.4 of our Acceptable Use Policy. The Service is not a general-purpose proxy, VPN or anonymisation service and cannot be used to access or relay third-party websites.
We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a core part of a paid plan you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance and, if the change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused prepaid period.
5. Plans, unlimited words and fair use
5.1 Plans
The current plans, prices and features are shown on our pricing page at eachlang.com/pricing. Paid plans are priced per website and per target language: each paid website includes a set number of target languages, and you can add further target languages for a fixed price per language per billing period. The Free plan includes one website and a limited number of target languages, as shown on the pricing page. No plan limits or bills by the number of words.
5.2 Unlimited words
We do not bill by word count. We will never change your plan or your bill because of the number of words you translate, and we will never upgrade your plan automatically. Apart from price changes under Section 6 and applicable taxes, your bill changes only when you add or remove websites, target languages or add-ons.
5.3 Fair use
To keep the Service fast and reliable for everyone, the following fair-use rules apply:
- Daily processing rate. Your account (all projects combined) processes up to a daily amount of new translations, counted as words multiplied by target languages: 20,000 on Free, and 100,000 for each paid website plus 25,000 for each extra target language you pay for. Translations made with an optional premium translation model (where your plan offers one) count 2.5 times towards this amount. Text above that amount is queued and processed on the following day(s). Existing translations continue to be served and are never removed because of this limit.
- What does not count. Text that has already been translated is not counted again. Visits by bots and crawlers are not counted; they are served from cache and do not trigger new translations.
- Initial import. When you first set up a project, a one-time initial allowance of 1,000,000 per paid website may be processed without the daily rate, so that a full site can go live quickly. For a managed migration, the initial allowance covers the whole site described in the agreed migration plan.
- Review threshold. If your account requests more than 2,000,000 new translations per paid website in a calendar month, or if translated page views exceed 100,000 human visits per day on a sustained basis, we will contact you. We will not change your plan without your agreement; we will discuss options with you.
- Outside fair use. Fair use does not cover: translating websites you do not own or are not authorised to operate; websites that mainly copy other websites' content or publish automatically generated content at scale; and using the translation engine for text that is not published on your website. These uses are also restricted by our Acceptable Use Policy.
5.4 Free plan
The Free plan is provided free of charge and as described on the pricing page (including the Eachlang badge). To keep the Free plan sustainable, we may: limit Free plans to one per account and one per domain; translate only pages that receive human visits; and pause a Free project that has had no human visits for 60 days (you can reactivate it in one click). We may change or discontinue the Free plan with at least 30 days' notice.
5.5 Trials
If we offer a trial of a paid plan, the trial terms shown at sign-up apply. If a payment method is required, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. We will remind you before the first charge where required by law.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Paddle. Prices are shown excluding applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; Paddle adds taxes at checkout.
- Websites, languages and add-ons. Each paid website, each extra target language and each add-on (for example the agency add-on) is billed per billing period at the price shown on the pricing page. If you add one during a billing period, the charge for the rest of that period is shown before you confirm. Removing a website, language or add-on takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If a refund of one item (under the Refund Policy) changes the price of other items, for example because an agency price cap or a language volume tier no longer applies, the new price applies from your next billing date and is shown to you before the refund. If the agency add-on is refunded, capped client sites return to their normal price.
- Migration offer. If you join through our migration offer, you pay for your plan now and the remaining prepaid time with your previous provider, as shown on your previous provider's invoice, is added to the end of the period you purchased, up to a maximum of 12 months. The offer is available once per website domain. Added time has no cash value and ends if the subscription is refunded.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account or through Paddle. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your subscription. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Paddle may retry it. If payment is not received within 14 days, we may downgrade the project to the Free plan. Your translations are not deleted because of a downgrade.
7. Your content and translations
7.1 You own your content and your translations
"Customer Content" means the content of your website, the text we extract from it, your glossaries and edits, and the translations the Service generates for you ("Output"). As between you and us, you own all Customer Content, including the Output. To the extent we have any rights in the Output, we assign them to you, and you may use, modify and export it freely, including after you stop using the Service. You can get a copy of your translations at any time, on every plan: through the export features of the Service where available, or by asking us at hello@eachlang.com, in which case we send them in a common machine-readable format (such as JSON).
7.2 Licence you give us
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, translate, cache, transmit and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and for the duration needed for those purposes.
7.3 No model training
We do not use Customer Content to train, fine-tune or improve machine-learning models, whether ours or a third party's. We send Customer Content for translation only to the AI providers listed in our Subprocessor List. We choose these providers and their settings so that, under their published data policies, Customer Content is not used to train their models, and we do not opt in to any programme that would allow such use. Some providers may keep inputs for a limited period to prevent abuse.
We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (for example, number of words processed or response times) to operate and improve the Service. These statistics do not include your content.
7.4 Your responsibilities for content
You confirm that you have the rights needed for us to process your website content as described in these Terms, and that publishing the translated versions does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. You are responsible for the content of your website and its translations once published, including any disclosures that apply to machine-translated or AI-generated text in your jurisdiction.
7.5 Machine translation quality
Machine translation may contain errors, omissions or inappropriate wording. You are responsible for reviewing translations that matter to you, especially legal, medical, safety, financial or contractual text. Translations are not professional (for example legal, medical or certified) translation or advice and should not be relied on for regulated purposes without qualified human review. The Service lets you edit and exclude content for this purpose.
8. Refunds
Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Refund requests are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have as a consumer.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend a project or account, with notice where reasonably possible, if we reasonably believe it breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, puts the Service or other users at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. We will tell you why and, where possible, give you a chance to fix the issue first.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, documentation and the Eachlang name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. Except for the rights expressly given in these Terms, we do not grant you any rights in the Service. Some components we publish are open source and are governed by their own licences.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when we act as a controller. When we process personal data on your behalf (for example, personal data contained in your website content or data about your visitors), our Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these Terms. Our subprocessors are listed in our Subprocessor List.
12. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless we have signed a separate service-level agreement with you. If our edge service cannot reach the translation layer, the Service is designed to serve your original-language page rather than an error, where technically possible.
Support channels depend on your plan, as shown on the pricing page.
13. Search engines and third-party platforms
We follow published search-engine guidance for multilingual sites (for example, hreflang annotations), but we do not guarantee any search ranking, traffic, indexing or conversion result, including during or after a migration from another provider. Search engines and website platforms (such as website builders and hosting providers) are third parties that may change their behaviour at any time; we are not responsible for their actions.
14. Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of translations.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Cap. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, in any 12-month period, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, and (b) USD 100.
- Excluded losses. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, search ranking, traffic or data, even if we were told they were possible.
- What is not limited. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not allow such limitation.
16. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from (a) your website content or its translations, where we processed them as you instructed, or (b) your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
17. Term, suspension and termination
- These Terms apply from when you first use the Service until your account is closed.
- You may close your account at any time.
- We may terminate your account for material breach that is not fixed within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious breaches of the Acceptable Use Policy or where required by law.
- We may stop offering the Service with at least 60 days' notice; in that case we will refund any prepaid fees for the period after the Service stops.
- After termination, your translated pages stop being served. You can get a copy of your translations, as described in Section 7.1, for 30 days after termination; after that, we delete Customer Content as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
- Sections 7.1, 10, 13-16, 18 and 19 survive termination.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Eskişehir, Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before starting proceedings, please contact us at hello@eachlang.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
19. General
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the effective date; continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a successor operator of the Service (for example, a company we set up to run the Service) if we give you notice and the successor accepts our obligations under these Terms and the Data Processing Agreement.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the documents they link to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience; the English version prevails unless the law requires otherwise.
