Refund Policy
Effective date: 5 November 2026
This Refund Policy applies to paid plans of Eachlang, operated by Senem Can. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who handles refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Refunds are issued by Paddle, to the original payment method.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not happy with something you paid for, you can request a full refund of the first payment for it within 30 days of that payment. No reason is required.
- What is covered. The first payment of a new subscription (monthly or annual), and the first payment for each item you add to a subscription later: each additional paid website (including agency client sites), each extra target language and the agency add-on. If an item was added during a billing period, its first payment is the charge for the rest of that period shown before you confirmed. The 30 days run separately for each item, from the date of its first payment.
- What a refund covers. Refunding an item refunds that item's first payment and removes it from your subscription once the refund is approved; the rest of your subscription continues. If the item has already renewed, it stays until the end of the period you paid for and then ends. Refunding a website also refunds any extra target languages first paid for that website within the same 30 days. Refunding your whole subscription refunds every first payment still within its 30 days (and an annual renewal under the rule below).
- Agency pricing. When the agency price cap applies, the agency add-on is included in the capped price of your client sites and has no separate first payment; a refund is then made through the capped client-site item. If the agency add-on is refunded, capped client sites return to their normal price.
- Renewals. Monthly renewal payments are not covered. For annual plans, you can request a refund of an annual renewal within 30 days of the renewal date, if you have not used the Service materially since the renewal.
3. 90-day migration guarantee
If you moved to Eachlang from another website translation provider and joined through our migration offer, you can request a full refund within 90 days of your first payment if the migration did not work for you. This covers everything in that first payment, including extra target languages and the agency add-on. Items you add later are covered for 30 days from their own first payment (Section 2) or until the end of the 90-day period, whichever ends later. Monthly renewal payments made within those 90 days are also covered. Please tell us what went wrong so we can learn from it. If your remaining time with your previous provider was added to your subscription under the migration offer, that added time ends when the refund is issued.
4. After the guarantee period
After the periods above, payments are generally non-refundable, but:
- Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Service problems. If the Service was unavailable or did not work as described for a significant part of a billing period because of our fault, contact us and we will offer a pro-rata refund or credit.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded.
- Feature removal. If we remove a core feature of your paid plan, you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused prepaid period (Terms, Section 4).
5. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection law. For example, consumers in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland and Türkiye generally have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from contracts for digital services. Our 30-day guarantee is more generous and is available to business customers too.
6. How to request a refund
- Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or visit paddle.net and look up your order; or
- Email us at hello@eachlang.com with your account email and order number, and we will ask Paddle to process the refund.
Approved refunds are usually returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. What happens after a refund
When a subscription is refunded, the paid plan ends and the project moves to the Free plan (or is paused if it exceeds Free plan limits). When a single item is refunded, only that item ends: for example, a refunded extra target language stops being served on your website. Your translations are not deleted and you can still export them. If refunding an item changes the price of other items (for example, agency caps or language tiers), the new price applies from your next billing date and is shown before the refund.
8. Abuse
We and Paddle may decline refund requests where there is clear evidence of fraud or refund abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles across accounts.
